Vintage Czech vitreous and iridescent glass buttons, ca. 1960. These dragonflies simply glow when they alight on your wrist.
These bracelets are all made with antique buttons, some of them 175 years old. Each unique bracelet is a little piece of history around your wrist. The buttons are made of glass, enamel, shell, china, mother of pearl and steel. The bracelet findings are new and are made of gold-plated brass, antique-finished brass-plated brass and pewter, or siler-plated steel.
Enjoy your special bracelet, but please keep in mind that these little button works of art are antique. That said, your bracelet is not meant for active wear, like gardening or kayaking ;) Use only cold water and soft cloth to clean, and avoid heavy hand lotions. If your bracelet has a safety chain, it is best to keep it secured, as the spring clasp is a secure and tight fit on the jump ring and is not designed to be removed often. With the chain secured, it is also easier to slide the bracelet on and secure the main clasp.
If the bracelet is too large or too small, I am usually able to make an adjustment. Similarly, if a button goes on a wander and needs to be reaffixed or replaced, please let Edgewood Orchard know and they will coordinate the fix with me.
