Welcome to Edgewood Orchard Galleries!
Known since 1969 for our exhibitions exploring ideas in a wide range of media, Edgewood Orchard Galleries has become one of the Midwest’s most respected art galleries.
Housed in a restored fruit barn built in 1918, the gallery presents monthly changing feature shows, along with general exhibits of work by over 150 artists. Paintings, sculpture, glass, clay, wood and jewelry are all represented.
The serene setting features a bricked courtyard, arbor and glassed portico with bistro tables and chairs. A tranquil sculpture garden guides visitors through the woods and gardens surrounding the gallery.
Thank you for your interest in Edgewood Orchard Galleries and the wonderful artists we represent. We hope to see you in person sometime soon in Fish Creek. Visit us 10 am – 5 pm daily, May through October.

Recognized by many Edgewood supporters as an annual rite of spring, the new gallery calendar looks beautiful and will be going out today to arrive in mailboxes across the country early next week. If you would like one, please email us your name and address and we will be happy to send one your way. If you can’t wait to see it, all of the new artwork included in the calendar is now posted on this website.

After several years of planning, a completely new and much more user-friendly Edgewood Orchard Galleries website is now up and running. Special thanks to web designer Chris Jarosh for his creative ideas and impressive programming skills, and to Alyson Hilander for carefully uploading many new images. Enjoy the new website!

I am certainly influenced by all the Impressionists, and with the same ideology, paint to capture the essence of a moment in time, celebrating the freshness of oil paint, in aggressive, confident brushwork, trying not to fuss over the small detail, rather to capture primarily the form, mood and light, with a strong and dynamic design I instinctively build into each composition. I paint often, working spontaneously, with high energy, and a positive spirit.Read More…
From the very beginning there has been an alluring aspect about texture that has influenced my work. Considering the important role that the surface can play in jewelry it is natural for me to focus on this area of design. The juxtaposition of a hard grainy texture next to the smooth surface of a pearl helps me develop the visual stimulus that I am looking for.Read More…

Each new season at Edgewood begins with the completion and mailing out of our annual gallery calendar. The calendar is filled with the new artwork that will bring the gallery back to life in May, and allows a first glimpse of what our artists have been working on all winter for the upcoming season. All of the work in the calendar is for sale, and the information about the calendar pieces can be found in this new section of the gallery website. Enjoy!

Group Show: “Abstraction”
Our first group show focusing on abstract art encourages an exploration that we feel will bring an exuberant collection of work by new gallery artists as well as longtime Edgewood Orchard exhibitors. “Alongside music, abstract art is among the purest forms of expression as it allows artists the freedom to communicate feelings and emotions unconstrained by depiction of a specific visual reality.” We look forward to an inspiring show filled with color, texture, line and shape.
The paintings of Tom Nachreiner will be featured in the Courtyard Gallery.

Our sculpture garden is meant for meandering. Take a stroll through the woods with artwork in various mediums, shapes, and sizes as your companions. Benches are sprinkled throughout to provide opportunities for a quick break or some quiet reflection.
