Welcome to Edgewood Orchard Galleries!
Known since 1969 for our exhibitions exploring ideas in a wide range of media, Edgewood Orchard Galleries has become one of the Midwest’s most respected art galleries.
Housed in a restored fruit barn built in 1918, the gallery presents monthly changing feature shows, along with general exhibits of work by over 150 artists. Paintings, sculpture, glass, clay, wood and jewelry are all represented.
The serene setting features a bricked courtyard, arbor and glassed portico with bistro tables and chairs. A tranquil sculpture garden guides visitors through the woods and gardens surrounding the gallery.
Thank you for your interest in Edgewood Orchard Galleries and the wonderful artists we represent. We hope to see you in person sometime soon in Fish Creek. Visit us 10 am – 5 pm daily, May through October.

Recognized by many Edgewood supporters as an annual rite of spring, the new gallery calendar looks beautiful and will be going out today to arrive in mailboxes across the country early next week. If you would like one, please email us your name and address and we will be happy to send one your way. If you can’t wait to see it, all of the new artwork included in the calendar is now posted on this website.
I am certainly influenced by all the Impressionists, and with the same ideology, paint to capture the essence of a moment in time, celebrating the freshness of oil paint, in aggressive, confident brushwork, trying not to fuss over the small detail, rather to capture primarily the form, mood and light, with a strong and dynamic design I instinctively build into each composition. I paint often, working spontaneously, with high energy, and a positive spirit.Read More…
The integration of form, textures and the use of color play an integral part in the design of my jewelry. Combining these elements, I try to evoke the feeling of the past with the use of various symbolic shapes and the surface patina whether it takes the form of a bracelet, earring or necklace. The juxtaposition of a hard grainy texture next to the smooth surface of a pearl helps me develop the visual stimulus that I am looking for.Read More…

Each new season at Edgewood begins with the completion and mailing out of our annual gallery calendar. The calendar is filled with the new artwork that will bring the gallery back to life in May, and allows a first glimpse of what our artists have been working on all winter for the upcoming season. All of the work in the calendar is for sale, and the information about the calendar pieces can be found in this new section of the gallery website. Enjoy!

The stone barn that is the heart of Edgewood Orchard Galleries was built in 1918. For its first 50 years it played host to the property’s apple and cherry orchard, and since 1969 it has been the main display space for the gallery. It is a beautiful building, loved for its thick stone walls, the original wavy glass window panes, the coffee can lid patched wood floors upstairs, and the beautiful carved and stained glass windows and doors that Minnow has added over the years. We celebrate the barn’s centennial with a group show titled “Shelter.” As the artwork created by our gallery artists for this show demonstrates, shelter can take many forms. From a bird’s nest, to a tree, to a cozy corner, to a century-old stone barn, shelter is important to all creatures, great and small!
The paintings of Tom Nachreiner will be featured in the Courtyard Gallery.
Saturday, September 1, 4-7: Reception to meet the artists. Artist introductions and short talks in the gallery courtyard at 5 pm. Wine and hors d’ oeuvres will be served.
Sunday, September 2, 1-3pm: Tom Nachreiner painting demonstration. Tom will demonstrate his oil painting techniques in the gallery courtyard.
While we often ship artwork from Fish Creek to all over the U.S.A. and recently as far as Norway and Australia, sometimes a road trip is the best way to get it there!
