A Home for Hattie

A Home for Hattie is a touching story of a family adopting an 11-year-old Labradoodle in need of a home when her owners, Bud and Irene, move into assisted living and can no longer care for her. They find a wonderful family for Hattie and in the process, they become part of the family, too. The story portrays how love connects us and carries us through difficult times. The book is beautifully illustrated with expressive watercolor paintings by Ivy Vallely.
